Anthropology is an academic discipline that derives its meaning from the study of people and cultures. My anthropological background allows me to approach every project and individual I encounter with cultural relativity and a global perspective. Studying people lends itself tremendously to understanding and working with people with emotional intelligence, which is something I strive for in every venture.

Anthropology and Archaeology have been great passions of my life. I was a working archaeologist for several years while developing my podcast and blog, and pursing my education in instructional design. My field and lab experience helped develop my extreme attention to detail and understanding of how methodology impacts the approach you bring to the design and development of educational materials. I still consider myself a coach and unique voice for aiding others pursuing careers in the field, and use this skill every time I take on a role which requires leadership and support of others within a team or as an academic adviser.
